A showcase in Berlin... In this pair of gallery, contemporary art is everywhere. But their house is primarily a place to live, open and bright..German architect Albert Gessner (1868-1953) conceived, among other urban buildings resembling majestic patrician villas, mansions and country houses opulent family. Facades ornate turrets, oculi, columns, bay windows, bow windows, entry halls stunning refinement ... were among the constants in his decorative vocabulary. Set in the spectacular "Grüne Haus" (or "Green House") designed in 1905 by Gessner in Berlin, the apartment gallery owners and Samia Max Hetzler exudes intelligence aspirations. It was designed as a showcase worthy of the brilliant range of contemporary artists they support.
